When you use CutStream, we collect your email address for authentication purposes. We also collect your taste profile data, including movies you like, dislike, add to watchlists, and mark as watched. This data is used exclusively to power your personalized recommendations.
Your taste data is used to build a mathematical embedding (taste vector) that powers our recommendation engine. This embedding is derived from the movies you interact with and is unique to your profile. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.
CutStream integrates with TMDB (The Movie Database) for movie metadata and images, OpenAI for embedding generation, and Resend for email delivery. Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
